Malca Voyages publishes one US-dollar rate card for 2026 and 2027 with 24 price points: six per-person cabin fares for the shared 3D2N, plus a per-boat grid for private trips of two to seven days. Both grids are set out below, and Komodo Luxury quotes each package on request for the vessel, your dates, duration, guest count and inclusions.
Every figure on this page was read from the Malca Voyages listing on komodoluxury.com on 15 September 2026. Komodo Luxury, which operates and markets this 30 m VIP phinisi out of Labuan Bajo, last checked the rates on 11 September 2026. That day, its 2026 and 2027 tabs carried identical numbers.

How is the Malca Voyages rate card built?
Two pricing systems run side by side on the same boat.
- Open trip (shared): sold per person, 3D2N only, with the fare set by the cabin you pick. Departures run Friday to Sunday and Monday to Wednesday every week. The seven cabins hold 19 guests at listed capacity.
- Private charter: sold per package for the whole phinisi. Six lengths from 2D1N to 7D6N, one flat rate for 1 to 12 guests, a second for 13 to 18, and a fixed supplement for each guest from 19 up to the 21-guest limit.
- Extras on both: Komodo National Park fees, crew gratuities, flights, alcohol and soft drinks. The full list is further down.
Prices are published in US dollars only. A rupiah figure on a third-party listing did not come from this card.

The cabin sets the fare, and every fare below is per person for the 3D2N.

Each cabin has its own bathroom and air-conditioning. The Triple Room carries the lowest per-person fare on the card and the Master Ocean View the highest.
What does a private charter cost for each trip length?
Private charters are billed per package, not per head.

This grid belongs to Malca Voyages alone. Sister boats in the Komodo Luxury fleet carry their own rate cards, so a figure quoted for another phinisi will not match.
How much does each extra night add to a private charter?
Private trips are priced by package length, not by night. Komodo Luxury publishes no nightly rate, so read the total for each length in the private grid above, and ask the reservations desk to quote any extension beyond a published package for your dates, duration, guest count and inclusions.
What does each guest pay on a private charter?
The invoice arrives as one package total. The split below is plain division, rounded to the nearest dollar, at the top of each tier and at the 21-guest maximum.

Smaller groups pay the same flat package: the band total does not change with head count, so the share per guest simply falls as the group grows.
At what group size does a private 3D2N beat buying shared cabins?
At 17 guests, on the published numbers alone. The table below fills open-trip berths cheapest first (Triple, then Quad, Double Rooms, Superior, Deluxe and finally Master) and sets that total against a private 3D2N for the same headcount.

Two caveats. On a shared date, other travellers take whatever berths your group does not buy. And the cheapest mix puts people in bunk rooms, while a private charter gives your group the whole boat. On a private charter, nobody outside your party shares the deck.
What do sample bookings add up to?
Each format reads from a different grid above, not from a quote.
- Couple or family on the shared 3D2N: the per-person fare listed for the cabin you book, with children from age 3 paying the full rate.
- Group of 1 to 18 on a private charter: the flat package listed for your guest band and trip length.
- Group of 19 to 21 on a private charter: the 13-18 package plus the addition for each guest above 18, quoted on request for your dates, duration, guest count and inclusions.
Park fees and the other extras listed next come on top of every line.
What does the fare include, and what is billed separately?

- Guide, snorkel gear and life vests
- Raw drone, GoPro and mirrorless footage of your trip
- Pick-up and drop-off between 08:00 and 09:00 from a hotel or the airport on the Labuan Bajo mainland near the harbour (not from other islands or the Manjaga area)

Which trip length should you price first?
The grid runs from 2D1N to 7D6N, but Komodo Luxury publishes a detailed day plan only for the 3D2N. Routes for other lengths are indicative and agreed with the reservations team, and weather or sea conditions can change any stop. Settle the length on the itinerary page, then read its row in the cabin table or the private grid above.
How do you turn these figures into a confirmed price?
- Choose a format: a cabin on a set departure, or a private package length.
- Send the details: date, format and headcount, by WhatsApp or email. KL states its team replies within 24 hours.
- Check the invoice: the reservations team confirms availability and issues a USD invoice. That invoice, not this page, sets what you pay.

Frequently Asked Questions
Are Komodo National Park fees part of the quoted rate?
No. Park fees sit outside both the cabin fares and the private packages. They follow the government regulation in force on your travel date, so the amount can move between seasons. The optional park drone permit is also extra and has to be requested 7 days before departure. Ask the reservations desk for the current figure when you request a quote.
Did the 2027 rate card change from the 2026 figures?
Not at Komodo Luxury’s last check. On 11 September 2026, its 2026 and 2027 tabs showed the same fare for every cabin and every private package. Treat that as a snapshot, not a price freeze: rates stay subject to change, and the invoice issued at booking is the figure that applies.
Is a private charter billed per person or per boat?
Per boat. One package rate covers 1 to 12 guests, a higher rate covers 13 to 18, and each guest from 19 to 21 adds a fixed supplement. A private 3D2N Malca Voyages trip for 13-18 guests costs USD 6,700 per package (USD 6,000 for 1-12 guests), as listed on Komodo Luxury’s 2026/2027 private trip price table (checked 2026-09-16).
How does the private 2D1N compare with the 3D2N?
The one-night package carries a premium, so the step up to the longer package is smaller than a night-by-night split would suggest. Komodo Luxury prices each length as a whole package in the private grid above and quotes it on request for the vessel, your dates, duration, guest count and inclusions.
At what age do children pay the full fare on Malca Voyages?
From age 3. Komodo Luxury’s booking terms state that children aged 3 and above are charged the full rate. The listing gives no separate rate for children under 3, so message the reservations desk on WhatsApp before paying anything if an infant or toddler is travelling with you.
Are Malca Voyages prices quoted in rupiah?
No. The rate card is published in US dollars only, and the reservations team invoices in USD. Bank charges on the transfer fall on the sender. A rupiah price you see on a third-party listing did not come from Komodo Luxury’s rate card, so confirm the USD figure with the reservations desk before you pay.
